i had an 03 harley blower installed on my expedition well over a year ago. no problems with it. went with the 6lb lower from mad mikey, along with some other stuff. anywho, at the time i went with the stock L box and tube, and a k&n drop in to keep the stock look. will i gain any mileage by switching to a more open setup? i am driving to fl in 9 weeks, and i usually average 13.5-14 mpg on the highway(granted i am driving more than the speed limit!) i know it should help the engine breathe better, just not sure what the results of that would be. also, do i have to get a modified tune after installed? also, what are your suggestions? i don't need the best one(chickenears), just an adequate one. i psp is no longer in business. thanks in advance.

 

I would expect you to see a 1-2 MPG increase over what you are getting right now.
