CAI or Custom Tuner?

If I was to do just one for now, a new CAI or get a customer tuner, what would everyone suggest I do first?

I will eventually get the other, but not until after the Holidays and most likely not until after tax return time.

if you've got a 5.4, then you will need a custom tune to keep from running lean.

i would recommend getting a tuner. you will get the most noticable difference from it. then when you do get the CAI, you can get custom tunes for it.

Just out of curiosity, how much does the custom tune cost? I know the tuner itself is appx. $400 and I assume it comes with a tune when you buy it? How much would another tune cost...just ball park. I hear people talk about canned tunes all the time so i'm assuming this is what your talking about?

With this said, can you only use the "canned tune" once? Forgive me if my terminology is incorrect, but i'll admit it, this is all new to me and I have no clue what I'm talking about.

Thanks

If you order the Gryphon from PHP, it comes with canned tunes that can be used indefinitely. It comes with a coupon for custom tunes that you order when you are ready.
