Question Gotts with CIA?

Can the "Gotts" be acheived with an aftermarket CAI? (K&N '77 Series)
Maybe to at least direct the air more to the filter?

you can make the same kind of intake i made with my 77 intake parts and then you can get a hood scoop in the middle and ull be getting plenty of air directed at the filter

The gotts mod is for a stock intake setup...it couldn't be done to a CAI because a CAI doesn't have any restrictions in/on it! lol The gotts mod just replaces the fender snorkel to a larger diameter for better volume flow.

do you even know what the "gotts intake" is?

YES, you can modify your stock air box in the "gotts intake" way, but you will need to modify the back half of your stock airbox so it seals around the filter.

the fenderwell doesn't force air into the engine just allows the engine to suck in ambient temperature air from outside the engine bay.

I took my K&N '77 series off and ran the "gotts intake" with better results
