Headers

I found on ebay OBX long tube headers, with what looks to be a cat atatched to each side with a Y pipe for reasonable price, anyone running these or know of anyone running these? or what are my other options on the market that work good?

heres the link:

I have the same kit you posted. They work good but I would recommend getting some copper gaskets rather than using the ****ty ones they provide. Also Stage 8's would be a good investment as well. You will also need 02 extensions with this kit, well I did anyways.

Those "cats" are just resonators, they do nothing for emissions just calm them down a little bit so you will throw a code, (P0420).

"Stage 8's" are locking header bolts that will not rust or come loose on you. As you may know the 2v's have a problem with the studs breaking off in the heads and this eliminates that problem. The Dynatech's are something like $1400 US from troyer performance. If you are wanting cats on them you could buy some highflow cats and have a shop install them in place of the resonators. The high flow cats would roughly be $75 each and $50 to have them installed. You would still be on the plus side about $500 going with OBX. BTW I am from Canada as well.

Do you have any pictures of where you cut into the obx system? have you noticed any rust with ur set up? or major fuel mileage change? i have a mig and tig welder so i can put it on no problem, im just looking for a good setup to improve power...

Dynatech SUPER MAXX EXHAUST

Dynatech Sales:

We have had people try it on the 4.6L and it does not fit without some significant modifications. The deck height on the 4.6L is shorter, which causes quite a few problems. Sorry we did not have what you needed.

So just curious to any one who is ussing the Super Maxx exhaust set up where is the problem in deck height? or where is it a snug fit?
