Question Roush CAI, Input needed

Anyone using the Roush CAI? How do you like it? I just bought an S&B but am thinking about selling it to go with the Roush instead. Gets 22hp and 32tq. Anyone have TRUE numbers on the S&B?

Thanks in advance. Everyone who has answered my other threads have been very helpful.

I have the roush & before I had my custom tunes it would drone some. After I installed my tunes I have not noticed the drone. The roush kit is actually made by air-raid but just with a different nameplate & filter. If it was me I would get custom tunes anyway regardless what route you go.

All the #'s ive looked at - on this site and a couple others - have S&B at #2 closely behind the AF1. I'll look and see if I can't find the link that helped me out when I was deciding.

Truckncrew,

I have the Roush CAI as well and have a helluva drone at 60MPH. Did yours actually feel like a vibration at the intake or did you just experince noise. I put extra rubber isolator pads and everything is tight but the noise is driving me crazy!!!

Drone

I also use the Roush CAI , And have the (drone) you are experiencing. It all depends on the RPM range you are opperating in and the load you are under. As well as your throttle position, It realy doesnt bother me. Push the skinny pedal alittle more or less and you can ushually find a position that will more satisfying. I kind of like it actually. I also run an Edge, and Roush offroad exhaust, I Love all my noise making add ons.

Either you are not getting a bad drone or you do love love weird noises. I personally hated the drone and it about drove me to the point of taking off my cai. If you love add on noises then go out and buy a throttle body spacer and you will get a nice whistling noise in return !
