Has anyone used the 4x4 5.4 long tubes from pacesetter on a 4x4 4.6? My truck is a 97 and the only 4.6 I can get is the $460 coatted ones, but I can get the 5.4 painted for $300. I will be deleting the egr, seeing that the nut that holds the tube to the manifold is gone. The dealer ship wants $80 for a new tube, and they can keep it. Just needing to know if this will work.

 

i used them on my 4.6L 2wd 97 f-150 fit fine expect for the EGR is a diff. size. the driver side headers look like they would clear the front drive shaft. i think they should fit were i bought them they said 4.6L 2wd and 4x4 i think ur in the clear on the headers have fun!!! got videos in my sig of open headers and threw my dynomax's enjoy
