True Duals VS 3 in 3 out

Right now I've got a 3 in 3 out Aero 3030 muffler with 3" piping from the muffler back.

Let's say I ran true duals, straight pipe.

What size piping would I use, 2 1/4" or 2 1/2"?

Performance difference between this and my current setup?

true duals with 3" diameter mufflers? AND they are flowmasters? Talk about torque destruction...
