Airaid installed and vibration fixed

I just installed my airaid last night. Installation went pretty smooth, the directions were very accurate. On my drive to work today I noticed a pretty bad vibration from 1500 to 1900 rpm and a light throttle. After double checking that all the screws were tight, I could still tap on the intake tube and hear some vibration.

I split up an old car wash sponge, I put one piece under the airbox and pushed it in tight with a flat blade and another piece above the brake lines. This helped some but still there was some noise. After staring at it for a while and tapping on different places on the tube, the Airaid logo mounted to the top of the tube caught my eye. Its only held in place by 2 rivets. I took a very small piece of sponge under the tip closest to the front of the truck and that was it. No more vibration, just the sound of a V8 breathing. Might go back and hit it with some clear silicone just to make it permanent.

Hope this helps some of you guys, before you go shipping yours back.

I got a pretty good deal on it too, better than the prices you see on ebay. Send me a PM if you want more info.
