Smile S&B CAI Mass Flow On Edge

Hi guys! I installed my S&B CAI tonight and I love it. Is it suppose to have a rumble to it, also on my EDGE what should i be seeing for MAF? I seen 5 - 6 when idle in drive and it jumps up from there as I drive. Any feedback is welcome!

Have you read any of the threads about CAI and the Edge. Running lean? You need to do an Advanced Search and read some threads.

Yeah I have used the search button. But I can't really find a post on what the S&B is suppose to sound like. When I step on the gas is is suppose to sound louder almost like a rumbling?

Make sure you get a custom tune for that Edge. My set up same as yours resanated bad at around 1800 rpms. And caused my truck to run lean. The Edge is made for a stock truck only.

You will have more noise as in an air "roar". But, the CAI's have had many instances where there is a vibration on the stock tune or on an Edge canned tune. Call Bill at www.powerhungryperformance.com, he can swap your Edge for a Gryphon and write you a custom tune that will eliminate the risk of running lean and eliminate the vibration.
