i wont argue with that. i went with them bc of the lifetime warranty and the fact that its CARB certified

 

Yeah its a great intake, just saying pointing out that with some brands the power increase might be more noticeable

 

I am not doubting the performance of the AF1 and S&B intakes. I have always used K&N and if these do what you all say they do as far as power increase, then I am def going to consider one or the other. The question i have is, how is the maintenance on the AF1 and the S&B? How do you clean them? Do they require oiling???

 

Yes, they all require re-oiling just like the K&N. Same cleaning process. The S&B is an enclosed design so you wouldn't be cleaning it as often and is cheaper than the AF1. Check out AutoAnything.com for the S&B. I believe they have the lowest price !!
