Having morals has nothing to do with being nieve... but believing that everyone shares an equivilant level of moral value as you do is just plain foolish.

Well considering how much you're ***uming, I'm not really sure where to go with this. First of all, do you mean naive? That's it. I never said anyone shared the same level of moral value as myself, did I? Nope, so there goes that statement. That's good you don't assume me to be an idiot, we don't know each other, so that'd be just plain ignorant. Now onto to your last statement, in the dark, about what? Remember this isn't about me, this is about you saying you'd keep a part that you didn't pay for. Anyway you look at it or however you want to spin it, it's stealing and it's against the law.

We actually had 2 sent to a customer and we ended up having ups go pick it up after talking with the customer about the mistake.

When businesses are trying to ship things as fast as possible to get their products out to their customers, mistakes do happen. Sometimes it is hard to catch the mistake once the order has been fulfilled, so I am sure any company would love to be informed of the mistake so it can be taken care of properly.

alon... I'm glad to hear that you guys are more consumer friendly than some of the other places like (autopartswarehouse). They actually cancelled an order of mine... it was expensive and probably fairly close to cost (a special)... and i used a coupon they sent from another large perchase... which probably made their profit margin close to scratch or even a loss. So i called them and asked, and they said they were out of stock... when they had checked the computer as i ordered it (over the phone). They also said they couldnt get it because the manufacturer was out... whom i also called and low and behold they had the part - told me to give apwh his extension and he would get me hooked up. The salesman denied it of course and they would not cooperate. I heard 3 different stories from 3 different salesmen of why they couldnt get the part... Now THAT is actually Illigal.

fact is... they didnt want to go through with it because they wouldnt make enough money... Now... does that sound like a company that has its customers in its best intrest... or someone that is just out to make his buck??

 

Wait a minute….I don't mean to be an *** but sometimes, it just cannot be helped. Are you actually bashing a company for wanting to make a PROFIT and not take a LOSS? Last time I checked that is what they do. How many of your customers would you allow to buy from you at a loss? Don't answer, I already know the answer; and if it is anything other than no, you're not a business person. Yes they should have been honest with you but they do have the right to deny a sale. Large orders mean nothing if their profit is very small or non existent. How much profit do you think Ford is making on trucks right now? Think they would like to stop that loss? They try every time someone goes to buy one.

Don't bash a business for wanting to make money. Your behaving no better than they with coupon codes and discounts to get under their cost and keeping merchandise sent by accident.
