Warning:talk To Stang 2 Before You Switch To True Duals
The opposition sure got quiet tho
Our vehicles run via program nowadays - Programs w/parameters and defaults that self adjust in order to compensate. We can only alter the hardware so much before adverse effects come as a result. Then we either revert to compatible hardware or alter the program (IF theres' room) to overcome.
If we do nothing - performance suffers. It may be little or alot, that depends. I bet a stock 4six has more nutts down low than a stock 5four w/true duals. - IMO of course.

The question is where if you have been listening/understanding the conversation.
You better think twice before loosing your money.
how stock a 4.6l? what about one with just a catback? what about gears, 4x4 or not, intakes?
a 4.6 stock with 3.73lsp and a 5four with highway gears & no LSP and the supposed loss of low end torque
i think a properly equiped 4.6, with a bigger tranny cooler and all that can beat a unproperly equipped 5four easily.

Yea you gain torque/hp , but way up in the RPMs. You'll never use it unless you run WFO everywhere you go. What you loose is down low. You know, your usable torque/hp.. Hell, just cut your pipes off behind the cats if that's all you want - better #'s up top.
U don't understand - Tunning on the Dyno can bring some of that back, but how much, I don't know. That's a part of tunning - getting the most out of your set up.

PS: Opposition didn't quiet, we were probably just out and about for the 4th of July.

If you were on the Dyno so much - Post the data. I bet you already looked thru the sheets and now know what I'm talking about - Just to Chicken Sh^t to post them.
Post up. -Since your Joe Dyno - Lets see em..
