LT Guys

Why haven't I heard of this ? I just had ANOTHER O2 code -B1S1. The O2's are almost new. This is prolly the forth time in the last 3 months. I checked all the wires / harness many times on both foward sensors. I had some exhaust/EGR leaks . So I completely did the exhaust again/ welded in new O2 bungs for the back because they leaked - Anyway it's solid as _ _ _ _ !

I even tried swapping forwards and I still got a B1S1 fault!! WTF!

Well, I ripped the freakin heat shield off this time and there it was. The AC drain is directly over the O2. With LT's you have to reposition the O2's in the Collector or Cat depending on the system. Mine happen to be in the collector which is right under the AC drain. I didn't notice that when doing the LT install last fall and I haven't run my AC until recently.

So if you have this problem - check the position of that drain tube. I extended the tube out of harms way. Couldn't even see the damn thing with the heat shields on.

Yea I re-routed it - actually just extended the hose. The b^tch of it was - The AC will drain a little after shut down , but when I'm not moving it dribbles from a different spot - I thought the drain was closer to the firewall.

When I'm moving it hits the O2 Sensor but dissipates pretty quick - right after causing the sensor to bugf^cky - The only way I confirmed is that I noticed the top of the heat shield trapped a little drainage /saturation and the sensor itself was, clean. A little moister in the harness as well.

Well , I'm not if all models have the drain pipe there - But Ford did put out a TSB on it - Included a modification, I have the illustations in gallery 3.
