cheap cai...

With cheap cai's...how do you plug the maf sensor from a 97 expedition into these?
1. http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku
or
2. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/97-02...QQcmdZViewItem
or
3. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/97-02...QQcmdZViewItem
or
4. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BOMZ-...ayphotohosting

Is there going to be a spot for the sensor in the tube? Because according to the pictures i cant find any, unlike in the aem brute force kit.
Would any of them work? Is so which one? 1,2,3, or 4?
thanks for any help at all guys...

i wouldn't put any of those intakes on my truck...if ur just looking to go cheap i'd suggest a drop in filter (K&N or S&B seems to be a popular filter) and also searching and finding the Gott's intake mod, I haven't done it but i can almost guarantee it'd do the same or better than those cheap intakes

the MAF sensor stays intact like it came from the factory you just have to take it out of the stock intake box...the tube will run to one end of the MAF and the filter will be on the other end...At least this is how it was on my K&N and im assuming others are similar

i'd like to see numbers to back that up...and i also love the sound of the new cai...ik the K&N isn't the best intake out there but i have a hard time beliving a 3" piece of pvc pipe is better

read the article, and yes gotts is going to test all the intakes on a dyno, on the same truck to see what numbers each puts down...

I took my K&N FIPK off and ran the gotts for a couple months and it was way better in the Texas heat. it actually lowered my intake temps when idling and lowered them to ambient on the highway
