Angry Not very happy with Airaid

Put my Airaid on last week, with not very good results. Seems like when I floor it, it starts to backfire and sputter. I thought I read in a different thread that you shouldn't need to reset the computer after this procedure. Is this common? How critical is the position of the MAF sensor? I know you can adjust it on the 97-03's, but not on the 04&up. Any feedback would be appreciated.

You should reset the computer after any mod that changes air, fuel, ect.

Just disconnect the battery for 10-15 minutes and during that time turn the headlights on so it will drain any residual power.

Disconnected the battery this morning while putting on my new Powerslots and Hawk pads. Will test it out after bedding in the pads. Thanks

Yep, disconnect your neg battery terminal for 10 minutes or so.. turn the headlight switch on to make sure everything discharges..

Reconnect that neg terminal and see if it's not better..
