Please help with AEM intake

I installed a AEM Brute Force intake this weekend. Install went great, the looks are good, picked up a bit of power. The problem is, at a certain RPM range ~ (1700 to 2200) and a certain engine load ~ (empty truck 30 - 50% acceleration) there is a godawful noise coming from the intake/engine bay. I know that intakes can induce more noise, but this is way too much. I had an AEM certified seller ride in the truck and he called the tech support line, nobody can think what it could be. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Casey

Sorry to hear that. I plan to pull the intake if I can't find a way to stop the drone. Does anybody have any good ideas?

Amen. I have this same drone with my S&B. I have to keep it under a certain rpm point all the time.. As soon as the drone comes in, i let go of the gas a tad and it goes away... really annoying.

For me, tends to be worse on hotter days. It's always there, however, more so on hotter days.

I don't know if its the same sound your talking about but my AF1 3'' when I down the gas at certain RPM's (usually entering a highway, ect.) it gives off this extremely deep roar...

But I like it.
