does dual exhaust on 4.9L sound good?
can you make dual exhaust on a 300 inline 6 have a good rumble and not sound crappy

yes and no, you cannot get a V-8 sound from an inline 6.

my dad has thrush glasspacks on his and it sounds pretty good

You should be able to get a pretty good sound out of it. My cousin has a single straight pipe on his and it is pretty loud. However, it sounds nothing like my 04 with straight pipes

My dad had a split exhaust manifold on a 300 years ago so it ended up with true duals..... sounded ok but not the V8 sound....... definitely sounded better than a V6 or V10 with duals though.....
