1974 ford exhaust

i am looking at putting header back true duals on my 74 ford.
the kit dosent come with mufflers, what would be a inexpensive muffler that would give me that classic v8 sound?

I hear Dynomaxes sound nice, and are cheap (in price, not quality.)

Glasspacks all the way.

i had a 76 F100 with a 360 in it.. duals from the manifolds back, with glasspacks. sounded so sweet. i loved that sound. i had the pipes come out at an angle before the tires. that truck could smoke the tires down at 30mph.

that was my first truck... good lord.. i really miss her.
