Opinions: In front of tire Exhaust tip

I am going to be doing the straight pipe exhaust cutting up the stock system and fashioning it to exit in front of the rear tire. However, I am having a little trouble deciding on my tip.

I will be getting a stainless steel 15 degree tip for sure but here are the things I still need to decide.

1) 3.5" or 4" outlet. I of course want the biggest tip that will still look good, but I am a little worried that 4" will be too big. But the bigger the tip will give a lower sound right? I like a lower pitch.

2) Slash cut or rolled edge or double tip. I mostly want to go on what looks better, but my buddy says that rolled edge tips can change the sound of the exhaust and give it a bit of a "ricer" sound.

Any of you thoughts and opinions on this would be great. Thanks

I have my 4" tip exiting in front of the rear tire. Definitely not too big....I wouldn't consider going any smaller. I don't have any pics of my exhaust setup yet - coming soon though.

that is how my system is set up ive also done another members truck for him that way, very simple jus remove the muffler and tail pipe then use the very last bend and cut each side to length you need and weld a tip on and of coarse a hanger or two, i use 3.5" tips but 4" would nto be bad at all, and slash cut i really dont like rolled

I have a 6" tip on my truck with a rolled edge I think the rolled edge looks good on a tip that big looks more finished to me but if I were to go 3" to 4" I would go slash cut the rolled edge on that size looks to rice IMO Also just to throw this out there I know a guy here that has his exhaust in front of the tire but he went into a body shop and had them cut a hole just a little over 4" in the bottom of the bedside in front of the tire and then ran his 4" exhaust tip into the hole flush with the edge kinda trophy truck style it came out good it looks really clean and its original. Just thought I would mention it so you could have another idea
