I talked to a magnaflow rep about this on the phone a while back, and i'm pretty sure specific vehicle models have to be approved for aftermarket cat replacement by CARB, as well as the aftermarket cat being approved. The F150 hadn't been approved yet (when i talked to him last fall).

ID law says no modifications to exhaust to amplify the sound of the exhaust... they really dont target the trucks but DAMN they love pullin my probe over.

There are aftermarket cats our for the Fords but they are very limited.

Also technically it is not just California. It is a Federal Law
