I am thinking about doing the exhaust on my truck but I don,t know which way to go . I noticed most the kits were one in two out but which is better if you are planning on a CAI and SCT X3 in the near future to get the most for your money ? Not buying a kit but having shop do it. I live in NC so I have to keep it legal. My old truck (97 4.6) I had true duals run out the same side (I like the stock look) with flow master mufflers. I do not want it loud ex specially in the cab just good tone and best performance and gas mileage I can get for my money. If there isn't much difference in performance should I just change the muffler? Also which AF1 3" or 3 1/2 " how much difference with both tuned? Is the 3 1/2 worth maybe having to take it off once a year to turn back to stock and get inspection ? Thanks for the help!

 

a troyer tuned 3.5" combo passes emissions with flying colors!

 

i think troyer has a package that has a si/do magnaflow exhaust with the AF1 and a custom tune(on the Xcal3 by troyer).. i think that'd save u some $$ if ur lookin that route.

 

I have a 06 screw Put the roush off road Exhaust about a month ago..Its quiet if you want it to be but loud when you need it ...love the crap out of it ....Were you live in NC ...Hickory here .....good luck with your choice
