just run true dual straight pipes and u wont be disappointed, its the loudest u can get without cutting off the cats and if its to loud for ya u can always put a muffler in no problem, i had flowmasters first and never was happy with it
when i was 17 and frist got my 97 F-150 4.6L...there was "a lil hole in the exuhast pipe..Cough cough" so i cut the muffler off i loved it but i wanted louder...so i cut the Y-pipe off and loved it even more...but then i wanted more so i got Long tubes lol...
Over all yes cut that HUGE freakin muffler off ull like it and you will get better gas mileage. i got like 1 more MPG without that huge thing on there!!!
