converters

converters

On my 2005 f150 they're 4 cats and i was wondering if all of them have O2 sensors on them or not thanks.

None of them do, never have as far as know. O2's sensors are in the exhaust piping before and after the converters - not on them.

Only the '04 + have the second set of 02's on the cats.

Well, that's strange -Now I find this.

5.4L (3V) Engine

Mine is the same was your second diagram. For the 5.4 3V that is.

Yea , I guess there's two different set ups according to that manual. I thought maybe one was for the 4.6 and the other was the 3 valve 5.4. According to the manual, they show two systems for both.

I duno, but yea, that last one shows the O2 tapping into the converter

the 2nd diagram is for the 04-05 trucks with 4 cats, the 3rd diagram is the 05+ trucks that come with only 2 factory cats.
