I have a question

I heard somebody talking the other day about cut outs on there exhaust. I have always heard of cut outs but never knew what they were. Can anyone tell me what they are? do they make your truck sound better?

they are basically a Y pipe that has a removable cap on one end. when the cap is on, the exhaust runs through the muffler like normal. but if you take the cap off its like running no muffler. i had one on for a while, and it fell off a couple days ago when i was driving, stupid clamp came loose. i think they are pretty cool, and ill probably buy another one

yeah i put cut-outs on when i did my Longtubes i put them right after the collectors so i take off 6 wing nuts and im running open headers. i put the cover on im running threw Dyno max bullets. Look on jegs or summit they both have cut-outs. there are a few differnt kinds. Wing nuts *take them off pull the cover.* Cable *pull a cable opens the cover let go of the cable it shuts it* and Electronic *push a button and the cover opens*

ya. those electronic ones are cool, but they cost way too much, and the motors dont last long on them
