Roush intake running hot

Hi all. I just installed the Roush intake in my 2007 5.4L Supercrew and the air going into the engine is way hotter than the stock intake. I set up my Edge to monitor the IAT and it was a few degrees hotter at idle and close to or at ambient temperature when I was driving.
Now with the Roush I have seen the IAT go up to 118 deg while waiting at a stop light and when moving (even on the highway) still stays a good 10-20 deg above ambient temperature. I am up in Alberta and the temperatures have ranged from about 10 deg to about 53 deg. Am I doing something wrong? Does anyone else have this problem?
Thanks

If that's the case, they should call them 'more' air intakes rather than 'cold' air intakes. Thanks for the input.
