Why does the '04 and '05+ 5.4L have different model numbers?

 

I asked the same question....

S&B said there is a slightly different setup for mounting...something that ford changed between the two years, some minor difference...but big enough to have two different kits.

Yup. I asked Alon the same thing for my 03. No box, just the heat shield. I think the box is for 04+.

 

your coupon code only removes 5 dollars which isnt 5 %, 5% of 269 is a deduction of 13.45..... so the sale price should be 255 or so, not the 264 it list it as.....

 

I just saw that it says 5% on here... meant to say $5. I'll go ahead and give you that 5% for your proof reading. Just go ahead and say that I authorized the 5% in the comments section.
