hi im new here,,hope you guys dont mind me asking a quick question,,,, i own a 97 f150 p/u 160k on it,5.4 triton, problem is i hear a semi loud ticking ,coming from the exhaust manifold.is this usual in 97s? and it is it an easy diy?..thnks in advance. john

 

check the passenger side top left stud. they are prone to breaking. thats where mine did. and i just bought some long tube headers to put in while i was at it. depeneding on how mechanically inclined you are you can do it yourself.
