powerful sound

powerful sound

what muffler would give me a powerful sound.
i want a nice loud power sound.

From what I've read, a Dynomax Bullet would be your best bet if you want loud.

I actually have the Dynomax bullet and love it a lot. Mine is dumped so it is loud, but I have subs and all so I just crank up the stereo some more

If you only care about loud then get the smallest Flowmaster you can find.. those things make nice sounds but rob your truck of some torque and do nothing for your mpg.

But they ARE loud.. LOL

the exhaust I have on the truck is a imco SI/DO muddler turned before the receiver hitch 2 1/2 outlets.

so i think i might go super 44 now that i heard of good ones and looked into them a bit should i have a biger pipe right from the headers?
what would be a good size?

Well I have true duals, 2.5" no mufflers w/ X-Pipe(awesome) that exits in front of right rear, with 4" tips and i get compliments all the time about the sound. Its a bit choppy when cold, but then sounds nasty once warm, esp. when flying buy people.

2.5'' is plenty big unless your have over 400hp
