Cats and X-pipe

I want to remove my rear cats and adding a true dual exhaust with an x-pipe. What do u guys think this will sound like and is it a good idea power wise. Thanks for the help.

I am going through this as we speak. Trying to decide. With the help of derrick and jbrew I've decided to go with a Magnaflow 3" cat back with the hi flows and long tubes. Troyer even recommends this as the best setup for my truck (as jbrew pointed out to me.) Yours is an 04 but I'd imagine you'd get similar results.

I just put high flow cats on my 02 and am very happy with the results. They run to a 14" maggie muffler. maybe I'll do the long tubes sometime down the road.
