cat back vs. shop installed

I'm need to get new cats. for my truck and obviously they need to be welded in. While doing this I also want to put a new muffler on. Question is wether I should have a shop do all of it or just the cats and buy a cat back system and put it on myself. BTW I'm pretty sold on Magnaflow equipment.

if your good with this kind of stuff do it your self it'll be alot cheaper and ull know whats been done...if you have the shop do it it'll be alot nicer but at a price...get 2 magnaflow high flow cats insted of the 4 OEM cats i dont have any but ive only heard good things about them and your truck will sound nice i say go maggy high flow cats and a maggy muffler i think you'll like the sound...do you have headers or just stock manifolds?

Just stock. I'd like to get new headers too but the price isn't right for me now.
