wat is the loudest muffler to put on a 97 f150 4x4 4.6litre

nothing is really going to be that loud with the 4 factory cats

depends on your state rules i know il has to have them, check and if you dont rip those sob's out get a set of headers run 3in. pipe and get some cherry bomb glass packs that should make that 4.6 roar

Haha sounds like what im going to do...pacesetter Longtubes 3" collectors 3" cut-outs 3" Dynomax Bullets and turn downs....ill be sure to get a video after there on this weekend!! its gonna be LOUD!!! Mostly with the cut-outs....out HAHA

97f1504x4jim also i would have it dumped underneath the truck just put a 45* turn down after the mufflers because the longer pipes after the mufflers tend to muffle the sound. also be careful about sound cuz a cop could pull u over and give you a ticket for being too loud. if you really wana spent the money i would get the engine port and polished

yeah and the loud ticket isnt a joke either. my buddy in his K/10 Chevy 350 was running open headers drove by a cop BAM 535.00 dollar ticket for disterbing the peace...and it was 3 in the afternoon.

noisy manifold

is it an easy fix to replace a exhaust manifold on a 97 f150 triton?

Not to bad, just tight to work in and you have to remove inner fender. My 98 has bad leaks when cold, but I have 3 bolts that have rusted off in each head, and im just gonna do a PI head swap to fix that.

I didn't waste my money on a muffler...I got true duals w' 4 factory cats. Loud as it gets until I replace the 4 stock cats with 2 Magnaflow high flow cats. This is a good, cheap, loud setup that a lot of 97-03' F-150s run.
