I went to get an estimate for my '04 and the guy said around 550. I think he's running one 6 inch muffler into45 degree 3.5inch toners. (I believe) Thisn sound like a good price?

 

when i got my truck's exhaust done for the first time i had a glasspack installed 2.5in piping from the Y-pipe to the glasspack then he ran 2.25in dual pipes to the rear of the truck and had 45degree bends in them and ended it with 3.5in chrome tips and all together i was charged $300.. I paid him cash so he gave me a deal but still the origional cost he was gonna charge me was $350.. I say you should shop around more, go to a few different muffler shops first and get some estimates..

I got my true dual system installed with 2 SISO Flowmaster 40s for $275 out the door.

I'd check around and see what other shops are charging.

Thanks guys I thought it was my dad had his done a few years ago for 300. I said I wanted LOUD but still with the mufflers or muffler and he looked under the truck said I got a 6 inch muffler and we can horseshoe. Then he said around 550. So I said thank you to him and your crazy in my head!

 

Nice.. the 6" muffler you speek of is probably the cherry bomb extreme muffler, i have that muffler SI/DO and cant complain about it! it does have some drone at about 1700rpm's but nothing to bad, then again i like the to hear my truck..lol

 

That aint bad if it is all Stainless. The Roush kit is less than $500 depending on where you buy it and if you put it on yourself it is cheaper and is all good quality stainless.
