I don't know anything about exhaust at all. I have rear exit 3" pipes and a magnaflow muffler. I don't think it's quite loud enough. Isn't it mainly the muffler that produces the sound? Can I keep the pipes and replace the muffler to get a deeper sound? What is a good brand for '03 4.6?

 

was it a kit ? try a 4x9 x 14 magnaflow muffler

 

cherrybomb extreme sounds really good on my 4.6

 

There is also quit a few convertors before that muffler that have alot to do with how loud the truck is-who needs this EPA crap anyways

 

How much did it cost to have the cherry bomb installed?

 

Just buy a shorter muffler or cut it off right after the muffler for more sound.
