Mitch, you still run that FloPro muffler? I live in Puyallup also and looking to get a FloPro too. I have an 03 Screw 4x4 and looking for a SIDO, where around here would you suggest I go and how much should I expect to pay? I just want a good sound for low bucks without losing any power to tow a boat. I only want the DO for looks and my current one is stock, anything else I should know before going in? I don't know much about mufflers so any advice would be great before someone "talks" me into something I won't want. Thanks.
Sorry Dan, but I never saw this back in January!! I don't go to the Exhaust section as often anymore... I just happend to be browsing for posts that have mitchf150 in it and came upon it.
You probably already have done what you were going to do, but I had mine done at a shop in Auburn (I work in Kent, so I did it during lunch). I don't recall what it cost, as it was just a SI/SO muffler, but I think I paid under $80 out the door. They cut out to old POS Gibson muffler and had to add an 18" extension to hook up to the Gibson tail pipe. I had it done at Pro Exhaust. They are on Central right around where the airport is.
I'm still running it, and that was over 5 years ago that I had it done.

Higdog, no sound clips.. I don't have a video cam or a phone that does that kind of thing... I guess I could use my digital camera, as it has a movie feature, but the sound is not very good.
It's actually pretty quite for an oval straight thru muffler (no baffles inside). Has a nice rumble at idle and when you rev it up, but it's not anywhere close to what a 'straight pipe' "RAPP" sound or even what a Flowmaster 40 has..
No drone on the highway even towing the trailer, but you can still get a hint of a nice V8 sound.
My wife has taken off in the truck and I was standing in the driveway, and you could hear it pretty good from the outside.. And, the wife does not complain about it like she did when I had a pair of Flo Pros on my '86 Mustang GT.. Now, that was loud and had a drone to it!! but, it was a GT Mustang!! What else was it supposed to sound like!
