Hey Max...I see from your profile you're in the feed business...Cargill? Purina?

My dad sold Cargill throughout the Midwest for nigh on to 35yrs. Are you upstate NY?

I deal with it through family owned/operated Agway in upstate new york. We carry/sell/deliver and deal with all those lines of feed. I bet you our manager probably knew your dad some how. He's been with agway for over 30 years and seems to know everyone. I'm at the cargill plant/warehouses every week. Getting feed, talking to reps etc. Telling them to go to farms and sell the lines!

One week of driving in...

Had the new TopSpeed 3" Catback pipe on now for a week and so far the gas mileage improvement has held steady at +2.2mpg. The drone of the muffler has increased somewhat. At 75mph under light acceleration it can be a bit much...but under WOT...man it sounds good. Sorry I havent posted any pics/sound clips yet, but its been snowing and/or a mess here for the last week and if I got everything cleaned up it would look like crap again by the time I got it home from the car wash.

I am now running strictly factory tuning and bit the bullet and filled up with Shell gas-87octane (my truck really seems to like that gas-runs very good and usually gets pretty good gas mileage on it) to see if it makes any significant difference...with the winter blend I wont be surprised if it doesnt make any difference at all though...Later!

wups...wasnt factory after all

Hey y'all...checked the tuning level last night and realized I wasnt running the factory tune but was running SC's 87octane w/options. The reason I checked was because I noticed a wiered cruise, accelerate, cruise, accelerate feeling when using the cruise control while going to work yesterday. The drone at 75mph that was fairly significant occurred while running SC's 87octane w/options tune. I drove to/from work with the factory tune today and the drone at 75mph was pleasant in comparison...go figure!

I'll be putting the new pipes to the test this weekend as I'll be running the 91octane Tow-Safe program and pulling a 16' trailer w/ ~4500lb load to Wichita Falls, TX. I have a feeling I'm going to be rolling down the windows a bit to "get the sound out" of the cab. Time will tell!

Army Proud...Hooah!
