run true duals with no mufflers and an x pipe. this should sound pretty good. if you have enough money then get the high flow cats they woud also help.

magnaflow is a great muffler but would never come close to the sound of a 40 flowmaster much less be louder. stealth what about you off road roush how does it compare to the flowmaster?

Since you are in Florida. Remove the cats. Try it before you spend anymore money, you might actually like it.

if your truck has 4 cats you can remove the back 2 but if it only has 2 i would not do that. if i had the money i would have an x pipe and it should actually improve your performance. see if you can get built54 to chime in he has had over 20 exhaust systems and i know he runs one so he should be able to give some actual #'s

i just checked summit and you can get a dynomax universal x pipe for $44.39 part # 88327. i would think you should be able to buy that and have it all installed for under 400.

x-pipe will actually reduce sound on the f150, but can improve performance with the right tune.

what i would do is replace your factory cats with high-flows, or install pacesetter longtube headers. either one will add a ton of sound, headers adding major performance.

you can run it with no cats but you would have to buy o2 simulators and its not worth it. i am actually running no muffler now and it sounds good especially for the 13 dollars it cost me. i added about 3' of pipe to get it out from under the cab and then just put on a turndown.

Your truck will run with out any of the cats. But it will throw a CEL. Just get a tune and have them turn off the rear off sensors when you do so. Justin @ VMPtuning.com is just down the road in Debary and he'd be willing to hook you up with a tune and shut off the rear 02's
