PowerAid Throttle Body Spacer Question

Ya, I have one. But, It was free so I didn't pay for this do nothing POS, just the waist of my time installing it and putting up with that damn whistle (soon to be removed)... But here is my question. By installing the tb spacer, does it not neck down the size of the intake manifold, which would cause it to REDUCE airflow into your engine? I looked at mine and the walls that fit into the manifold were about 1/8" thick (.125") which would reduce the overall size by (If I can remember how to do this math) .3925", which is over 3/8". That has got to have an effect on the air flow into you engine...
