Im planning on getting a SI/DO Maganflow muffler soon, or would just running a straight pipe be better? $45.00(straight pipe) vs $225.00 (Magbaflow fabbed by muffler shop) Anyone with a 5.4 w/cats have a straight pipe setup?

I also am running no mufflers on my truck it sounds great to me also some people would not like the loudness but a truck should be loud and mean lol. I am running duals and summit shorty headers (pacesetters)

I have true dual straight pipes (no crossover) and absolutely love the loud sound!

here is how i have my setup and i have done this on my friends truck too, these pics are of his truck only a few days old

remove muffler, by unclamping it not just cutting it off

cut off the last 2 straight pieces with the 1 bend

then cut it down to fit and weld a 24x3" tip and a hanger or two

finished product may cause people to fall over backward because of how much they love it

then a vid
