I was at my local speed shop today and talking to the guy there and told him I was going to have a local shop install a Maggie muffler rather than get 16616 (I have factory tube bars and MaggieRep has already confirmed it's a tough fit and sometimes won't fit), and I want that Lightning style exhaust look. Told him I need to order the muffler and 16616 comes with an 18", but I was looking for maybe a little more sound, but not much, based on what people hear said it sounded like. I told him I wasn't sure about a 14", if it would be too loud. We did some looking, and Maggie does in fact make a 16" SI/DO 2.5" muffler. So I'm wondering, does anyone else have the 16" SI/DO muffler? If so, how do you like it. I like sound when I get on it, I like the loudness, but I don't want it loud all the time like when just cruising around town. I've heard alot of people say they like the 18", but it's rather tame, and I've heard some people say they like the 14", but it has a bit more drone and it pretty aggressive. I'm thinking I'm gonna go with a 16" (right in between the two for sound hopefully), and then have my muffler shop do the bends to come out the side and use some bigger tips than the ones that come with the kit 16616. I believe those are 3.5" tips, maybe 4? I'm thinking two side by side 4.5" tips. (PS, don't care about the shop not doing madrel bends, my motor is not stroked, not high output, not dealing with high ponies, it will not affect it that much).
