What exhaust?

I'm having trouble deciding what exhaust to get for my 04 fx4 screw.....I like the banks single, magnaflow single, and the roush sounds good to. I want to stay in the 550 price range, and i don't want that much drone. I talked to a local exhaust shop and they said they could make me a catback with a magnaflow for around $380......just wanting to get your opinions

thanks

I just put my SI/SO side exit Corsa sport exhaust with twin 4" tips. It is a SICK exhaust system. I had a 14" maggie on my last truck(03' f150 fx4) and this exhaust blows it away. AWESOME aggressive sound when stompin on it but no drone at all. Its has a sweet tone to it that no other exhaust has. I will hopefuly be getting some sound files up here shortly.

Since your not %100 sure I just thought I would throw another suggestion at you. You will not be dissapointed at all!Send me a PM and I can tell you where I got it...they had a close out deal and I got a unbelievable price...but Im not sure if they have any left.

If you have a shop do it the arent going to do any mandrel bending. Its better to spend the extra bucks and get the entire system. Ours carries a LIFETIME Warranty

Can you confirm that the Maggie 16616 will work with the extended cab and factory step bars? I really want the kit due to the great deal I can get through hottexhaust and ease of install, but I'm concerned with the fitment, and also I've heard many people complain (and have seen the photos) of the tips not lining up properly, ie the front tip being lower than the rear or just not at the same angle. As far as Mandrel bends, they are great and all, but I don't think on a normally aspirated, non-built up factory motor they will make a huge difference over traditional compression bends. If you are getting into blown or bored motors, high outputs, I'm sure they are better. But for everyday drivers that aren't trying to rip up the tracks, I believe standard bends are acceptable. Just my 2 cents
