Magnaflow rep help......

i have been discussing with a local shop about putting on a universal muffler the way that this set up will be done is cut out the old exhaust and weld in a magnaflow universal then run a longer "dump" under the bed of the truck.

the question that i have, is that i am looking for a very mellow toned exhaust. the shop said that i should put on a 22" muffler to meet what i want and to cut down on drone since its dumping under the bed. what kind of tone would i be getting from a 22" muffler and what if any difference would an 18" muffler be???

thanks in advance.

Well The 5x11x22 will give you a nice deep mellow tone. The 5x8x18 will be just a little louder due to the fact that it has a smaller body. But the 5x11 will give you less interior noise.
