exhuast question

i have an 2004 heritage f150 and iam wanting to but a new muffler on it. i was thinking about maybe a flowmaster. i wanted to just cut the old muffler out and put a new one in and leave the tailpipe and all alone if i could. i hardly ever go over 2.5k rpm and the stock muffler is kinda deep but i wanted something a little louder with the big price tag.

PS but i sure dont want the "bee in a tin can" sound that alot of smaller engines have that have pipes

dynomax bullet replacing your stock would sound great! check out my sound clips in my sig. Also remember i have two of my cats gutted so its a little louder then stock even without the muffler.

I had a 40 seris flow...good muffler but if you want the truck to sound the best and you have a 5.4 run nothing but the cats and pipe. Best sound i have ever got from a truck.mine is an 02' Just don't do it on the 04-08's cause they sound like ****! Trust me i had an 05'.
