I have the volant. Felt a gain when I first put them on. After a while, it lost its effect. A buddy who worked at a Corvette performance place said that it was due to the truck figuring out what had been done. He also said that any gain with an air intake is somewhat useless without a tune in the long run. I have added a canned tune, and it runs better. I am awaiting my custom tune from troyer. I wish I had gone with AF1 (3.5) but did not because to put the 3.5 on, you must have a tune. Get the tune, and the air intake from Troyer. DO NOT just put an air intake on without remapping your truck. Running lean can cause huge problems to the engine. I assume thats why Ford will void your warranty with putting aftermarket air intakes on.

negative! They first must prove that the intake was the cause of the damage, now if you sling a rod or something then yeah they will blame it on the intake. If you go get your oil changed or something under warranty, by law they can not void because the intake.

just saying, most warranty work will not be voided, you would have to have a catastrophic system failure and they would have to prove that the intake caused it to happen.
