you mean cutouts? im thinking about getting them for my truck just so its not heard a mile away all the time. i think either jegs or summit racing had them cant rember witch one. doesnt look that hard to make but im sure theres something hard about making them. im thinking about it but with X-mas here i gotta spend money on other people and not just my truck at the moment

i bought one from Jegs a couple weeks ago and i love them. i can make my exhaust loud whenever i want. only problem i had with them is the paint or powdercoating (whatever is on them) is starting to melt but its not hurting anything. and for $25 i cant complain

i got the wingnut cover. its alot easier. the motors on the electric ones tend to go out and not seal correct. and the one with the cable are a PITA to install. the wingnut style is better for the price. mine isnt even welded in yet. its being held on by SS exhaust clamps i got from NAPA

yeah i got a buddy who took like 4 years of welding classes and he welds all the time on his job so im pretty sure he could get them not to leak. that link is confuzing. it says at the end of the dist. for OEM mustangs 2.25" and then on the list price it says 2 1/2". i just love the sound of open headers every now and then

A cutout AFTER the muffler would be pointless... Its not going to sound any different... Maybe louder in the cab just because of the fact that it will be closer to the cab...
