cat

I have a 99 f250 with the 6.8L I thought I had a resonater just befor the muffler but its not its the cat there is no senser after it is it ok to cut it out?

oh. well the only other thing i would worry about it maybe throwing a code. but nothing serious. you might try posting over in the diesel section

it has no sensor after the cat the sensors ahead of it are about 4ft ahead. where is the diesel section

you should be fine is the sensor is before the cat. the diesel section is a little farther down the forum page

ya the sensor is before the cat just after the manifolds. I found the diesel section they said go for it there isn't a sensor after the cat so im ok, it will be louder but thats ok to
