I have a 99 ford f250 with the 6.8L I want to put a dynomax muffler on it can I pull the resonator off of it and be safe or dose it have a purpose

Go ahead.

But - if it then drones horribly at certain rpms in the cab, you will have empirically discovered it's purpose

ok so its not going to hert anything cool and have you herd of any problems with the 6.8L?
