Banks or roush

which is better performance wise
the banks is a 3" system i dont see any info on what size the roush is
with that being said is the 3" to big for a truck with no other mods yet

i dont have either set up but from what i have heard the banks seams to be one of the best you can buy for performance and the 3 inch pipe is fine for your truck. from all the sound clips i have heard the roush sounds a lot better. but for strictly performance go banks

I'd look more into the Roush exhaust.. If it's 3" pipes you're talking about that's too large for an otherwise unmodded truck.. you want 2 1/2" pipes, otherwise you'll have no back pressure and lose a ton of your low-end torque.

Banks is one of the kings of diesel, gas engines are more of a sideline for them.. Roush would be a better choice..

do you have any pic of the custom work you had done to run the roush out
at that angle

that's one reason I'm not craze about the roush is everybody seems to have problems with the tips not matching

The Roush tips match fine, you just have to adjust them is all. Roush is the better choice, but I'm biased.

if you wanted them to come at an angle you would have to change the mounting place for the last bracket on each side and bend the pipes at the tail

Here are the pictures of the install. The tips I have are not Roush or Borla.

Borla makes the exhaust for Roush.

Yes. That muffler looks just like my Roush, only mine is 10" long and has Roush stamped on it.
