Expert Opinions Neede

I have a 05 FX4 SCAB. I leveled the truck out at 2" because I put on 305x65x18 BFG AT KO's with 18X10 wheels. The truck looks great, but runs a little hard because of the weight I increased.

What do I need to do to increase HP and make a smoother ride? What are your opinions out there? Thanks.

Here are my thoughts: AF1 3" intake, Edge programmer, and Flowmaster 44's.

Is this setup feasible?

1 word....GEARS

Not a single upgrade you could make short of forced induction will give you back your get up and go like gears will.

X2.

Putting on larger tires changed your effective final drive ratio. New gears will bring it back to stock acceleration/power/mileage (or beyond if you'd like).

What Will I Need For Gears Then? I Didn't Think About That.

according to edge-it is designed for the stock intake-member 05supercrew was told this when his s&b cai he was running with his edge caused a very lean condition-this came directly from edge-fyi

that flowmaster is gonna hurt your low end torque. magnaflow is much better

I'm not an expert but i had that combo on my truck and it sucked!!! I would go with gears first or AF1 3.5, Custom Tunes and an exhaust with a straight through design. No Flowmaster
