cut-out

where is the best place to buy a manual exhaust cut-out? the only place that i have found them is jegs. i know there has go to be more places that sell them

have a local exhasut shop make you one. I can have a pair of them made in 2.5" pipe for $30

so some shops can make them themselves? I'll have to remember to ask my shop about that.

when I do have mine made I will get some pics and post them. I will be having mine made in the next few weeks for a V8 ranger project I am starting on. They dont "stock" any of them because they are a special made cutout. Some exhaust shops amke them some dont, the one in my town has had alot of requests for them so they started making them

my local shop wanted $60 to make one. and none of the other shops will make them, they can just order then. and its even more expensive. so i just went ahead and ordered one from jegs. it was only $25. it should be here thursday

make your own! thats what im gonna try doesnt look to hard. Cut a 2.5" hole in the side of the pipe shove another pipe on there with a flange cover and get some wing nuts on that thing! im gonna pract on a few extra pipes ill let you guys know how it goes

well i got my cut out today. it was pretty nice. powder coated black. i went and got some exhaust clamps from Napa and but it on with my flowmaster. it sounds amazing. i cant wait till i get my magnaflow next week. hopefully ill be able to weld it in then. ill post some pics up tomrrow, and maybe some sounds clips
