I had called a few months ago and they wanted $480 to my door. I got the S&B. I like the way the Banks looked but got the S&B for $230 to my door.

 

yeah ! I've looked at those intake kits as well. I just wanted a matching intake kit with the exhaust. Since I'm planning to buy the monster exhaust kit as well.

 

I have the Banks intake & exhaust on mine and have been very pleased.
I just need to get of my A** and get the Troyer tuned programmer.

 

Do it now, that would be a nice xmas gift for yourself.

Where did you get the S&B? Also sorry bout the hijack but I have an 07 screw 5.4. I just did a 3" Magnaflow cat back and looking to do an edge and S&B. I noticed you had the same set up. How is/was it and will the 07 have the possible lean issue out of the box?

The Edge and S&B dont play nice together A lot of people got a really bad drone at 1800 rpm`s and this combo made my truck run dangerously lean so I ended up selling the Edge. The Edge is tuned for stock trucks only, if you decide you have to have this combo do a dyno run and see where your a/f is at. I got my S&B from Jegs $230 w/free 2 day deliverey. Jegs will match any competiters price and they did. I dont remember the web site but I called Jegs and told them the web site and the salesman checked it right there on the phone.

From what I hear it will drone also. Dont hold me to that though because I only heard of one complant.

 

I got the kit on yesterday. I gotta say im pleased with the purchase . Install was very simple. And as far as sound, Its great!!! Very quiet till you get you foot in it.

 

I just installed mine today drove it a little noticed a big change in acceleration and it does sound nice when you get on it but I personally don't like it and will be selling it. Anyone interested? I am going back to stock set up no reason just sounds quieter for me.

The Banks CAI makes it sound like you have a supercharger under the hood.....
